http://www.TheRenegadeHealthShow.com - A few of you asked "what the heck were you making in yesterday's show" so I thought I'd explain today...

By the way, if you haven't watched yesterday's show on what percentage do you have to be to be considered a raw foodie, I recommend joining the conversation. It's a good one!

Ok, so today we're talking about green juice, nut bags and the Vitamix.

I think it's the best way to juice your greens, so watch the show to find out why...

  • you can also use a paint strainer bag, if you cannot find a nut milk bag. Just go to a paint store, or home depot or something, and then ask them if they carry paint strainer bags, very cheap and efficient.

  • when I make my nutmilk in the nutbag, I just squeeze the liquid into one of those giant measuring cups (love it!) and then it's easy to pour into a quart size Ball jar or glass pitcher that I scored at a yard sale.

  • lol im on shrooms and this seems so funny ahahahha NUT BAG!!!

  • @Jen9987 Paint strainer bags work great. I saw a video where the guy said he had been using the same bag for 8 months. That's awesome. And you can get 2 bags for like $3 so it is super economical.

  • I just started juicing and I am using the blender method. I use paint straining bags from Lowe's and it works GREAT. So far my favorite green juice is spinach, kale, carrots, and apple. Tonight I am going to juice the above and once strained put it back in to the blender and blend up a banana and make a smoothie with some fresh ground flax seed.

  • Kale, Collard, Carrot, Cilantro, Parsely, Bok Choy, Apple, Apricot or plum, lemon, and strawberry. Excellent drink.

  • Can you use regular tap water? Is distilled water OK?

  • that's great. but, where can i buy the nut bag?

  • So what happen with the megahydrate? Does it work or not? Thanks!

  • one apple, two pear, five celery sticks, a bit of ginger, two handfuls of spinach, a bit of parsley, two carrots, one garlic clove, one lemon .

  • You can also just use a piece of cotton cloth. That's what I use. It wears out a bit quicker, but is readily available. A hankerchief, piece of t-shirt, or old sheet is great. Though you might need to double it up if it's very thin.
