Religion shoves it down your throat and judges you negatively if you have different views, and, they promise your enternal damnation for not seeing it how they do. seems pretty manipulitive to me. since when should religion be based on fear

Might be twisted of me, but as even as Christian I think the artist brings up a pretty valid point. Even if it is not directed at Christians (and I do not know if it is or not) I think Christians are a prime example; I admit to judging others and having the guts to place myself above them but in the end we are all human, and that cannot change but that is why I pray that God helps me to control my thoughts and actions. Only He can judge man, not me or anyone else, after all He made us.
