I prefer the beer gardens.

@AllAmericanFiveRadio I'm going to guess there was a very angry dog at the residence.

Thanks Cindy,
I have been thinking about writing another book. If I do, this one would be fun.

Yep, I had that happen where I used to live; I could pick up Catholic Radio at 100.3MHZ very faintly through my expensive Klipsch desktop speakers. Sometimes it can depend on how far you live from the transmitter and its effective radiated power.

Hi Rick. One funny thing I had was the wiring of a village hall acting as a giant loop aerial. I was working about a quarter of a mile away from one of the UK's largest domestic radio stations running at ~ 200KW at 1500 metres at that time. I’d pulled the fuse on a circuit and then I got a burn on my hand from the neutral to earth. When I put a neon screwdriver on the neutral wire the glow was varying in sympathy with the radio volume... wasn’t expecting that one!
Kind Regards ... Andy

Hey Andy,
Neat story. RF can do and get into interesting places. And with power, even more interesting. It can seem like magic sometimes.
Regards,
Rick
