@KamenRiderNecro sorry to butt in on your lovely conversation, I just thought I'd comment. This was the first anime I watched in subs, and the music from both artists completely blew me away. I truly don't like all of these people calling Sheryl a b*** just because they side with Ranka, because, although I DO side with Ranka, that doesn't mean I hate Sheryl. I think some people just need to grow up a little.

@KamenRiderNecro looks like I misunderstood you. :) "If anybody says anything mean about her in my presence" made it sound like you'd been recently through one of notorious fandom wars where persons behind characters would unjustly get flamed. I've seen that happen a lot for all sides, which is hard for me because while Ranka (not surprisingly) is easily my favourite I liked both Sheryl and Ranka and girls behind them (Nakajima, May'n, Endo). I completely agree with you about this song ofc :)

@KamenRiderNecro Agreed 100% - you also sound like you've spent a bit too much time in shipper enviroment...both May'n and Megumi did very good job with vocals and have great voices in their own ways, but people forget May'n had 3 years of experience prior to Frontier. Megumi now has comparable experience and growth, and she's absolutely terrific in 2nd film's material. Songbird from cosmic cuune was fant. performance already, but anyone dissing her aft. Sayonara material is blind hater. ;)

This song is just beautiful no matter what language it's in. Megumi did such a good job singing it and giving it a feeling of yearning for love, for peace, for contentment, and someone special to share those feelings with. If anybody says anything mean about her in my presence, they will see a man get mean on them in no time flat.
