  • my LG tv has usb ports at the back but my HDD wont show up on it, and my remote dosent seem to have a media player button

  • @CODYRATU does it say HDD next to any of the usb ports?

  • i cant find a usb port on my tv but its flat screen does that mean i cant ever watch movies from my hardrive on it????????

  • @AaronO220 It must be a older flat screen or not a higher end model. Only other way of that i think you could make it work is if it had a VGA port and you could just hook your computer up to your to and mirror your computer screen. The only down fall to that is the sound would be playing out of your computer speakers and if they don't go loud enough it would be annoying to try and watch a movie like that.

  • brought here by your nasioc giveaway and must say even if i don't win the nob this video is almost better, how did i not know this?

  • @mixmastamikal Thanks! I plan on doing giveaways every week or 2 so please come back!

  • when i plug mine into just a USB port it finds my hard drivebut t only lists photos and music. if i select either ofthem my screen just goes black and i cant do anything. once i unplug the hard drive the tv shows my usb menu only for a second and goes back to normal

  • @DIYallday No but i tryed it before and a window popped up, cant remember what it said but i think i have to change it to FAT32 or something, if i can get it to work on the xbox then it wont really matter if it works on tv or not lol

  • Fantastic ! All those movies on my HD don't need burning to blank dvds anymore :D
