Mo' Money, Mo' Problems

Yoooo!!!! It's another vloggity vlog from UnFamousChris. Today's vlog is a little debate that started on Twitter & I would love some feedback on it. Good ol' YouTube/Google gave the top 500 YouTube partners a $1000 gift card to B&H Photo & Video. Now I know these partners deserved the reward for their success but I wonder if maybe, in the spirit of the holidays, that some newer partners might have deserved a reward like that as well. Not saying I deserve it, but some partners are struggling to build an audience & some new equipment to improve video quality might help. Let me know what you think after watching my vid!!! I agree with both opinions, because the top youtubers don't always need that extra cash for equipment, because they either already have what they need, or already have a fairly decent income to take care of everything they need. But they do deserve it because they are doing such a great job.

I'd also like to see that "video contest." Where people who don't have the biggest income, can have a chance at getting a taste of that "christmas bonus" thanks to YouTube. Hmm. This gets you thinking...

Yeah I agree definitely new and upcoming partners like filmhawk definitely deserve more money but it's w/e google wants to do I guess.

I wish I could live alone... I don't like made beds because they remind me of hospitals... I think money should go to people who really need it, not for someone who is going to go buy things they don't need. I know someone going through a terrible time and that person has been going through a terrible time for so long and I wish I could help that person :(
