Great Moments in Dark Messiah

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is a 2006 Fantasy RPG/FPS. This game came out a fews months after Oblivion and it has its parts that are better. Since Oblivion was for the wizard gamers, DM is geared for fighters.

DM uses the Source engine so you know the graphics are going to be great and all that but its the gameplay that I love. Combat is a big upgrade from Oblivion. You get bullet time for Adrenalin power strikes where you can see a head or limb cut off. You can burn, freeze and electrocute your enemies. In addition, you can use the environment to help you beat baddies. Kick and enemy over an edge, kick him against a spiked wall my (personal fav) or drop some crates on them. Very few games give this much satisfaction in killing (maype Halo, Max Payne and Half-Life series).

DM has its flaws. The story sucks and the game is far too linear. The game is also way too short and there are too few types of enemies to fight. I personally didn't that in 90% of the game you are in a crypt or something like that. Even above ground environments were small, closed in hubs. Overall, DM was was great to play and its fun look at every not and then.

@MrMonkeyman297 The lightning shield counts as using magic so the other orcs would have attacked me with that. I think I didn’t use the other indestructible because it would make the fight too easy.
