@GuvnaGeeza well, I never meant to sound ignorant or ironic; I was just pointing out that this original single is unique, mostly because of the story behind the inspiration and the overall performance. Anyway, music is about one's taste. And, I myself am a huge fan of michael's; I grew up listening to his music - and his voice? Amazing! He is totally worth it to be singing "Somebody to love" in the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, along with the rest of the Queen.. what a great performance!

you're right, when you said this version is better than that of U2. The voice of George Michael is so smooth that it makes you feel the words instead of just listening to them.
