Protesters set a Russian flag on fire...

Russia is the Islamic regime's closest ally. It is also widely believed that agents from Russian secret service (having experience in dealing with velvet revolutions) are collaborating with the regime to crush the 2009 Iranian revolution.

I can't understand why these people are crying "Death to Russia" while they struggle for their freedom and rights and solve the problems of Iran on the whole? Does Russia prevent iranian people from solving their problems?

Thanks to everybody for the explanation. I got this idea, but I think that russian people don't support Ahamadinejad, it's just the president of Russia recognized him, not all the people. People don't know the real situation in Iran, because in my country (Ukraine) they don't give us any information about the struggle in Iran (they just showed us some videos and news about the first days after Iranian elections).

I think it´s just not right to set a flag(dosen´t matter which flag) on fire. "It´s Ayatollahs way to show theirs protest." A flag is a symbol for a nation and all people who live there ,and it´s not a modern way to protest.I believed we all had learn something of this 30 years of Ayatollahs regime!

Yes, becuz Russia and China were the first countries that approved Ahamadinejad as the winner. why they did it? becuz they want to be able to do trading with Iran,and this government allow that. the air plane that crashed on its way to Armenia was a second handed plain from Russia China also gets alot of money through trading with Iran, and since ahmadinejad lost they had to side with them, ass holes.
