Research-Informed Teaching initiative gathers momentum!

Can bamboo help reduce poverty and pollution? Does what you drink really make a difference? The Development of 3D models for the investigation of brain tumour investigation. These were the titles for just three of the thirty research projects undertaken by over fifty student interns who applied to UCLan's 2010 Undergraduate Research Internship Scheme.

Co-ordinated by UCLan's Centre for Research-informed Teaching, the students were drawn from subjects across the arts, sciences, health and business to work on a huge variety of projects for a period of up to ten weeks.
