  • hey roller nice tips

  • is it you said TSSL.COM ?

  • Realistically most of this could be condensed into 1 year, but first off you would have to decide what type of dj you would really like to be mobile, club, wedding, radio, etc. Or maybe even a combination of more than one of those mentioned! I do like your idea's though cause you definitely need a plan before you jump into it!!! Cause it will take patience, practice, dedication, and perserverence, in order to make it in the game! Good Luck!!!

  • I am doing things out of order. I already bought gear and never was taking under the wing of a DJ.

  • those are great suggstions!

i didnt do a lot of that to start off with and didnt really have enough experience and made a few mistakes but i regret not finding a dj and would definitley recomend it to other new guys

    great vid!!!!

  • i think young djs get distracted by all these flashy DJ lights, (just like casinos attract people with lights) so these young djs run out any buy all the new lights, and yeah they look like they have a pro setup because of the lights. but i was DJing for like 2 years before i ever got any cool DJ lights. i had experience first.

  • haha thats for sure.... i had a buddy that wanted to come along and watch for half profit... i think u got to kno the game before you play it.....

  • I agree with your philosophy to some extent. Three years is too long though. I think one year is good enough to accomplish everything. Another thing I would recommend is the order in which you place your recommendations. 1st - Definitely find a dj buddy you can learn from. In this time try to decide on what style you want to do (mobile, club, hip hop, electronic, etc).

2nd - Decide on what equipment you want to use (vinyl/cdj) and select your gear. 3rd - Practice then step onto the stage
