  • My all time favorite...Sir Mario Bava! Love this move, though i prefer to watch it in Italian. Great song as well!

  • @cjm1483 Yeah I did, and then I watched it with my sister. Artistic brilliance.

  • @MmeLEnfer

great movie! did you see it yet.

  • Not my favorite movie by any means, but this music is superb. At about the same time Rustichelli was also scoring the wonderful comedies of Pietro Germi. The man was a composer for all seasons . . .

  • I've been listening to Carlo's Bava scores all day (as well as all of yesterday and last night). I'm in love with this tune... I must see the film.

  • Fine piece of music. Thank you. I must see this movie someday; never quite came around to it 'cause it was reviled by the critics (yes, yes, I know, "fuck the critics" :-) )

  • Thanks a lot from Cologne :)))

  • Bava was a master.

  • Agreed. It's hard to believe that Bava was seldom appreciated when he was alive. This giallo film truely brings the pulpy thrillers on paperbacks to motion picture. Bava achieved this with many different colour gels, noirish lighting and slick camera work. I heard that him and his cameraman had a falling out and Bava's later work is more static and zoom lens.

Anyway, Rustichelli's score is a perfect jazzy tune with a bit of a sultry feeling to it.

  • Great!Another Mario Bava fan!Is better out of Italy for him..so sad,and i'm italian!
