  • @eddieh95 the University of Wisconsin Marching Band plays Hot Time at the start of every period of every sport as well as after every touchdown they score in football

  • Wonderful Joe Smith was quite unique in applying a Beiderbecke style to blues. One of the most undeservedly forgotten greats of the 20ies.

  • Echoes of this song are rolled into the UCLA post-victory song called "Rover". Nice to know that the roots of that song are from this old classic! Go Bruins!

  • The past sings to us. How strange and beautiful

  • Great recording. Bessie is the real thing.

  • Bessie, the greatest!

  • @BrokenneckYgor Haha! Written by Theodore Metz in 1896.

  • This here song be da greatest! --Tex Ritter

  • Written by Igor Stravinsky, featured in "FireBird" (1970)

  • Magnificent ! Thanks for posting
