The most scary aspect of nationalized health care is that it gives the government more control over people's lives. Hey fatty, lose a hundred pounds and then come see us...next! Sorry maam but you've already outlived the national average death age...next! We can't provide for such expensive cancer screening just on a doctor's hunch. Good luck sir...next! Oh, you've been diagnosed with manic depression? Why don't you just run for congress? Then you'll have anything you want...next!

I can't believe how many idiots there are that want to put their provision in the hands of politicians; and at the expense of their fellow citizens. The government will dictate what they consider a legitimate price and doctors will stop practicing when their wages are cut drastically. Can you say doctor shortage? Private insurance providers will go out of business because they can't compete with the tax sucking federal commies who can operate at a loss and continue confiscating wages.

I hate to tell you but healthcare in Canada,England and France are not fantastic.Hospitals in England now to cut cost are turning sheets over instead of fresh sheets on beds how can that be good? The speaker of this video knows what he is talking about maybe you need to listen longer to his speech.Government Healthcare is not what you want.

Spazman173 what about the speakers comments on the number of docs in Canada ? This is the same in England and other contries with nat healthcare. Why a shortage of docs. Because docs want to be paid for all the YEARS of study. They simply went elsewhere to earn a living. basic economics.

I work for a medical device company. My laser technology is widely available here. It is available on a very limited basis in Canada. It is available on a limited basis in Europe. National Healthcare means wage and price controls. That equals bad economics. So no this man is not an idiot.

You are so correct. I work for a med device company. My companies technology is high rationed in Canada. So you pay very, very high taxes and get very very little.

right... that's why they always cross the border to come here for our care... i see it all the time. i live 5 minits from canada... it's an issue around here.. they are denied care in their own country... not to mention... if you are of a certain age (old) they can deny you care because they think you are too "old" to spend the money on. they ration care..
yes, we need a reform but not nationalization.. we need the "freedom" of private healthcare... it benifits our quality of life.

Yeah, it's pretty good (sarcasm). Except for the fact that if you are sick or hurt and it's not life threatening, they can refuse to treat you at that moment.
