okay.... i think i just made a complete fool of myself with the previous posting. My bad!! Its STILL and amazing performance, however :--).

Wow!!! I like this transcription and especially the completely remarkable way it's performed, MUCH better than the original, for violin. WHY isn't this lady more famous????

@NegOedipal the lack of impurities, extras that don't add and distract. Purity is hard, impurity is easy. Purity is control, coherence... Pure is a positive adjective, meaning it has some 'good' in it. The sentence 'That was horribly pure' is rather poetic because it is contradictory to some extend.

I like the part where the arpeggios start and at the same time the camera is showing her from more and more above.

@maricahn As a pianist myself, I can say she's probably not faking.

Is she acting before she approaches the piano or when she shakes her body in thrilled emotion? I'm not sure; it's not like it was the first time she plays that piece.

Great pianist! Brava! Encore...... :))

helene, i so love you....

you only listen to this music due to peer pressure. where are morals? you disgust me
It is the most clear and convincing interpretation of this piece - no useless rubatos, no tricks, just clear piano playing of the highest quality. Even Busoni's own interpretation does not reach this level of purity.
