  • whats the strumming pattern, good clean version

  • @Lazairus Ya got me. I just play it! If I try to think about what I'm doing, I'm screwed.

Have you ever heard Neil do it in the key of E? It's awesome -- a quiet, laid back version. It's on YouTube somewhere

  • Hey rick checkout my version of this, I was going for the acoustic version as well, and on the great Devide, I did have it tuned down a step.

  • I like the key of E version of PF... doesn't come out too good when i do it, so i stick to the G version

He's performed PF more than any other song.

Thanks for the Great Divide info

  • I really like it Rick. 5-stars. Excellent video quality and singing. It's a very different take to the original - definitely more downbeat.

  • Thanks, David. Have you ever heard Neil's studio acoustic version of this? That's what I was going for, but I think I need to capo up a fret or two or three.

  • That's why you get somuch room echo. I did my Cowgirl cover before I got a mic. Get the Sony ECM-MS907. It will plug right into your stereo mini jack on your camera.

  • Thanks, Gil...new camera. No new mic yet.

  • Thanks Mark...appreciate the compliment

  • Great rendition! I like the way you make your covers sound uniquely you. I also like the video on this one, it was very good quality and enjoyed seeing you perform.
