It doesn't work on all switches. It has the be the same o e that he has. I have the one with fog light option and it doesn't work with this trick, so be careful not to break it while doing that so you can bend it back if it doesn't work. I've done that and it went back fine, but it don't work do me. 2003 passat w8

after doing this a long time ago i decided to turn back on my DRL and i bent the pin back to normal and my DRL still arnt turning on......

@S3hz us spec vw's don't come with parking light position, you can order the euro switch and get the replacement wire for the parking lights.
