- In front of Viet Vo Dao flag, representing courageous and noble tradition of the martial artist,
- In front of our Founder's portrait (Nguyen Loc, Nguyễn Lộc in Vietnamese), representing the benevolence and generosity of the youth with the nation and humanity,
- We, newly sworn disciple, pledge to follow the examples of our Founder:
- To live chastely and honorably
- To temper our will
- To practice diligently
In order to:
- Protect our nation's honor
- Serve our community and humanity
- Build next generation of Vovinam Youth
