Anyway this is how Patch vs Alice usually goes (Patch wins), except well the Patch is awesome while the Alice is merely good.
I'd like to see Desu No's Alice take a crack at him though.

Spam is reckless executing of spells, doing it for a purpose is totally another thing. You can consider it a sniper vs a machinegun, better one bullet that hits than a giant bunch of blind shots. In that sense, mix the sniper and machinegun together, now that isn't exactly spam. Pathcouli uses a lot of sequences that breaks guards and locks the enemy, it's not just reckless spam.
