@nawstra578 so long as the land does not come into play tapped or as long as you don't lack the ability to activate the search ability (mana, life, etc), then you can search for a land on the same turn it comes into play.

It's reasons like multiple cipt lands that I refuse to play Rootbound Crag in Jund. Basics are much better.

yeah, the m10 duals definitely have a draw back. nevertheless, jund doesn't seem to loose _too_ much tempo with its high "ETBF" land-count. (based on tourney results). whether to include the ETBF -duals vs basics is a tough call...

Rootbound Crag is too good not to play. Those M10 lands are pretty damned good and it smooths the mana base out.

Now I play a Jund deck with 4 Rangers and an average amount of basics to search out.

You just have to play those M10 lands because it's a necessity to have a solid mana base. In this instance, if you use nothing (Or a large number of) of basics you could draw a swamp when you really need a Dragonskull Summit. Not a chance I'm willing to take.

Slow start, but its true that if you stop bushwhacker's initial burst of damage from continuing into the endgame, boros is pretty much screwed.
