you have too search the fix for it, and if nothing else works for you:
you just use KNOPPIX, back up all the shit you have on the HDD and format, reinstall windows.. ta-daaa

I had a Sony Vaio for a long time and loved it. But then it got the blue screen of death and died... Now I have to use an HP. lol.
I think the whole Mac Vs. PC is a little childish at times.
A computer is a computer. Sure, the kinds of things you can do with it can make your computer better, but that's all personal choice. I like both for different programs.

it's good to know that some people do not buy things based on what the biased commercials say they do...
however, i do own both a macbook and a pc, and i must say that i like them both very much. :)
buy something because you want to buy it and are willing to use it effectively, not because some 30 second commercial tells you to buy it. :)
