"Goodbye" Final Cut Pro

After using Final Cut for my editing needs.... Something I whipped together while messing aroun' with Premiere Pro for the 1st time. I thought i would say a proper Goodbye:( Simple, lighthearted.

Bruno, I'm hoping your right;) deep down I'm pissed at Apple, but then again i have to give credit to develop something that can be used by everyone. I just wish they would've supported FCP hardcore user(s).

Thou I'm far from a pro editor I can appreciate the art of solid story telling.

I feel i know a thing or two about this industry since i've been a teacher, worked in it for 20 years graduated from video and audio engineering and won an Emmy. so please learn real video before you make dumb ones.

i've done all types of productions and when you edit with a RED camera it brings it's own software to convert to 1080i if need be.. and about in and out of video.. last i checked we have networks and yousendit and streaming, i can't remember when i last burned a DVD for a client and less put a video to tape.

3. i taught adobe premiere and people would tell me it was the worst software to edit with not professional at all and look at it now, I know a good thing when i see one. 4. this is the new philosophy in editing goes along with iMovie and iMovie/Avid Studio for the ipad... touch base editing.. i've done all types of productions and when you edit with a RED camera it brings it's own software to convert to 1080i if need be..

1. OMF? how often do you share files with AVID Editors? and if you have AVID why do you need to edit on FCP? 2. they just added multicam, XML.. but when was the last time you needed to create an EDL? seriously? you used to create EDLS when you did offline editing and you needed to take it to an "online" editing bay at a proffesional studio of which there is little to none of anymore.

let me start by saying i love sarah brightman and i've had the chance to see her twice in concert here in miami... i've worked over 20 years in the video industry and currently i work at a TV station and I have to say that FCPX is by far the BEST EDITING software i've come across...

@NUMIQmedia yea you should. Apple is really trying hard to improve fcpX they finally added multi cam more probably to come.
