  • Would regular packaging styrofoam do good or is it too soft?

  • @mudkiptyler Yes it works. Harder to do detail work with it and it needs to be coated prior to painting. But for some buildings all you need to do is coat it and paint it. There are some great shapes and pieces in packaging foam.

  • does anyone know where i could find some big blocks of polestyrene/styrofoam or the stuff he mentions about mixing? thanks :) goo dvid

  • @MrJjjaaammmeeesss They use big blocks of similar foam in constructing wharfs. I'm inland and 2-1/2 inches is the thickest I've seen (Building supply store under insulations)

There are a couple companies that sell two-part pour and let expand foams. Search out Smooth-On products. They have a great casting info section too.

  • Frigolit is the Swedish word for Styrofoam. It´s often white with quite big bubbles.

  • yo can u show us how to make legit rivers on our game boards with all the other terrain also kus i need some LOTR SBG help with my boards

  • No problems! ^^

Just like in Canada they have styrofoam in most well-sorted hardware stores here in sweden.

"Frigolit" is the swedish word for "styrofoam", though it refers to the standard styrofoam, not the extruded. I said that the extruded can be found where the regular styro is found

  • Thanks for posting the info.

    What is frigolit?

  • i live in sweden i cant find this at any store i even went to a arkitekt store all they sold was foamboards!please tell me where i can find it...thanks
