MGS4 deserves every bit of praise and success it gets. It has everything.
A connecting story that evokes emotions
Solid gameplay with tight controls
Music that framed every situation within the game just right.

Very few games get everything right now days. They pick and choose what the priority is gonna be and than the devs put all their energy into that one area which is why games come out with either very good online and weak story modes or vice versa. MGS4 = Total package

When I play a game, I want to play a game, not watch a 30 minute cinematic, followed by a 30 minute mission, followed by another 30 minute cinematic. MGS4 is only good as the completion of a frachise's story, not as a game. An actual game: something like Left4Dead!

The videos of it look like CRAP. But it sounds like an amazing game

First game i bought when i got my ps3. And every other game i play now just doesn't match up to the same experience i had when playing mgs 4.
