Crate V18 Demo (strat)

I just got my V18 in the mail today and thought i'd throw up some clips to show some of the things it can do. I'm using my American Deluxe V Neck strat, a Danelectro Wasabi Overdrive, and of course my V18. Sorry for the sloppy playing and audio quality. I just sat down and hit record on my computer.

Are you putting an OD pedal in front of it because the gain on the amp is insufficient, or because it doesn't sound good with it's own overdrive, or do you just like the wasabi od a lot? I can't find a single demo of the 112 version that actually demos the sound of the amp alone. I can only get one amp, so it needs to cover everything. I prefer to go straight to the amp. A solid state od puts transistors between gtr and amp, and I lose some of the feel that I like.

Yeah dude the Crate tube amps are pretty amazing for the money. I have a Crate Palomino which sounds awesome, then there's the V series, and then the Blackhearts I think are from Crate too. Very underestimated company imo.
