Kate Walker, a young ambitious lawyer from New York, is handed what seems a fairly straight forward assignment - a quick stopover to handle the sale of an old automaton factory hidden in the alpine valleys, then straight back home to the US. Little did she imagine when embarking on this task that her life would be turned upside down.

On her expedition across Europe, traveling from Western Europe to the far reaches of Eastern Russia, she encounters a host of incredible characters and locations in her attempt to track down Hans, the genius inventor - the final key to unlock the secret of Syberia.

Her voyage across land and time throws all she values into question, while the deal she sets out to sign turns into a pact with destiny.

Does anyone else thinks this game hapes peopl's brain? like, do u get haunted back to it everytime u hear the soundtrack?

I played it around 6 years ago and I slisten to the soundtrack EVERYDAY and it always captures me like nothing else can!

I tried to play this when I was younger, but I got confused and didn't get very far. But I just recently picked it back up and I loved it! The story was intriguing and the locations looked amazing! I want to play the second one now! (But until I can get it, I'll just continue playing through the first one again. lol)

@ioanarocksyou I had the game a little while ago and lost it so i never really got a chance to even get into the 1st game in the trilogy (there is apparently a part 3, but i could be mistaken). Anyway, i started playing adventure games myself in the late 80's on the C64 and Amiga but by far the greatest i think i have played was The Longest Journey on the PC :) I will have to hunt Syberia down though and try to play it again :)

The storyline really catch my heart. The ending of Syberia2 is so... emotional! :')

syberia 1&2, probably the best adventure games that've ever made. even if you are a 50 years old adult who hates playing computer games, you MUST play this series once before you die.
