Patterns of clusters evolution: models, practices, technologies and policies

Veneto Regional Government charged the Regional Innovation Agency, Veneto Innovazione , with the coordination of e-Cluster project. e-Cluster has had a twofold final aim: defining and testing an alternative and new approaches to improve the co-operation among systems of businesses spreading out and repeating the project results in similar contexts inside the region, transferring such results, methods, good practices into suggestions for the definition of regional policies supporting business networks.
In order to better disseminate these best practices and to exploit them opening an international debate, Veneto Innovazione organised the conference "Patterns of clusters evolution:
models, practices, technologies and policies" on 18-19 January 2007 in Venice.
The conference focused on the future of clusters: how to structure the suitable organisational models, how to foster networking and transnational cooperation, which inputs can give technologies and policies for cluster development.
