LOL, I know that this is like a year old but this is funny. At this point the PS3 has been out for 3 years and people still didn't know this kind of shit. still, it's been almost a year since I learned how to fix PS3s and see some of the comments or should I say "Dumb-ass Comments" makes me laugh and do a little face-palm

LOL...You guys are TO funny:) Yelling at one another:) I AM a part-time professional installer. And just to let you know: you CAN install, up to a 500GB SATA 2.5 laptop hard drive. And you are NOT hacking/breaking, any warranties/laws:) But from the "boys will be boys":) type fighting you're having:)It sounds like you've missed CRUCIAL details.So if I were you, I would hire a techie person. You paid to much, to mess it up. Sony would then void your warranty:( Sorry about that:)...Take care:)
