DENNY'S FAULT
-
@Gforcebond You seem to be confused. Haas offered a contract to Tony to drive plus co-own the team. And I agree that Tony could've done it on his own, but the fact is that he pretty much turned a start-and-park team into a team that contends for championships/race wins.
-
lol he got offered to own his own team? lol By who? Haas? lolz I think u got it backwards. How about Haas got a great opportunity and good timing to be a 50 pecent owner with a great race car driver. If anything Tony made that situation happen not Haas. If Stewart wanted to he could have started his own team as a 100 percent owner. It would have been harder...on his wallet but he still would have done it.
-
@Gforcebond No, 'cause when Tony left JGR, JGR had gone from Chevy to Toyota. Tony said that he was a GM guy, through and through. He did not like driving Toyotas. Plus, Tony was offered to pretty much own his own team. How could you not pass that opportunity up? Tony got to go back to Chevy, he's a team owner, and now may I add a 3-time NASCAR Sprint Cup champion?
-
Wrong.

I'm pretty sure this was one of the reasons why Tony departed Joe Gibbs Racing. You wreck your own teammate that's ok. Accidents happen, but then after you blame the other guy? I'm sure Joe Gibbs was saying are you fucking kidding me? Plus Zipadelli and Ton'y relationship started to crumble.
-
how is this any different than terry labonte and dale earnhardt senior? these two were teamates and dale and labonte weren't
-
they should have stuck with thes cars
-
haha I was there! Right in front of the wreck! I was so happy...

I dont know how anyone could defend Stewart, he clearly ran into the back of Hamlin. Even if Hamlin was loose, which I think he was, he wouldnt have spun had Stewart not hit him. It was just lap 15 so Stewart didnt need to be pushing Hamlin out of the corner like that anyway. Then Stewart's comments afterward were ridiculous.
