@pigletized I strongly disagree, Blue Oyster Cult was insanely influential to the development of Rock music in the 70s. They used to be one of the biggest bands in the world, right up there with Led Zeppelin.

@cacaw88 Thanks, I know that though. I wasn't talking about the song. I was talking about Bloom, but not in reference to this song.

@pigletized and @ stevediorio. Of course it gives you chills. Me too. It was meant to. And this version is real tasty. Like it a lot. Yeah, this IS one the most interesting bands. Musically. Lyrically. Even the name of the group.

All of the lyrics trimmed (for time) from the studio version:
Out in the air, cool and clear it's free/it's the only way to be
Once hidden wonders now were there to see/they were pointed out to me
Now I never rise until the sun falls And my vision knows no walls
And I'm looking for ladies walking alone
They regret the day when they hear me say
(per Albert Bouchard)

@jonahbegone Agreed. Bloom's vocals never get the respect their due and he has genuine stage charisma.

Ever since Richard Geere started playing bass for Pink floyd.

One of the most interesting bands of all time. Under rated and overshadowed by larger flashier acts.
