Opening of an anime i just finished watching. Demonbane

it sooo awsome...u hafta watch it.

Story:
Kuro Daijuuji is a poor detective living in Arkham City. One day, he was requested by Ruri Hado of Hado Financial Group, to search for a magic book. While he initially refused, Ruri offered him a large sum of money upon completion of her request, in which bribed Kuro to accept. As Kuro searches for the book, he unexpectedly runs into Al Azif, a pretty girl that is actually a powerful grimoire. They forge a contract with each other, bestowing Kuro with powerful magic. Soon afterwards, Al also activates Demonbane, a deus machina owned by the Hado Financial Group, to combat the mechanical menace from the Black Lodge. With this, the war between the Hado Financial Group and the Black Lodge begins....

Demonbane: Lovecraft meets Mobile Suit Gundam. Can't think of any way to make something better than with some Lovecraftian elements.

If people really want a better grasp on what Demonbane is, they should really read the visual novel. Much higher quality, as well as more depth into the characters and plot.

A good example is that the anime fails to make Master Therion feel like he "shouldn't exist" as the Visual Novel does so well.

I love this Anime. It has Mecha explosions and loads of Lovecraft in a twisted package (I've read REal Lovecraft) It even has a Necronomicon-turned-magical-gi­rl-sidekick.If Mahou Shoujo Madoka is Magical Girl turned Lovecraft Horror with a Bittersweetness. I guess Demonbane would be Lovecraft turned Magical Girl with Double Sweet Ending. It also reminds me of G Gundam with screaming Mecha Attacks.

Without Trapezohedron aka Azathoth in a stick, the version featured prominently in this anime is only a city buster that can reverse time and alter reality. One hit from the trapezohedron will seal TTGL though

The version in the prequel, however, will punk STTGL around like toy

The Version that appear at the very end of this anime, along with the Kurou and older Al look alike (Elder God Kurou and Elder God Al) can punk Nya who can punk the prequel version with ease.
