@saranoid --I see and feel my music; always have been that way. Colors, emotions, when I listen to music. I listen to a song, and I have a story take shape in my head. I've only been listening AFTER his passing, and I want to hear more. I listen to this, and I am somewhere else, mentally. I love that feeling. I think all of us will be in line to meet him again.

The music, and Pete himself, both had one foot in our time, and one foot in another time. For all of his Brooklyn accent and irreverent, off-the-wall, self-deprecating humour, there was a weird timelessness about the man and the music. Maybe his pathos was a result of reincarnation, who knows? A giant soul who returns to find everyone he knew is long gone...that Everything Dies.
Maybe he'll reincarnate again in another four centuries.

The sound of this album sure was quite different. There was so much fuzz through out the album, it easily masked the mistakes made by the musicians. On the other hand, one evening this lady friend dropped by my place. We had a few drinks and later on, I played this song. I narrated the lyrics "I'll do anything to make you come". It turned her on so much, her skirt and panties quickly came off and we had lots of fun.
