Week 9 of my new routine. I've currently been doing Bill starr 5x5 Madcow intermediate (have a look)http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/5x5_Program/Linea r_5x5.htm?20077

has been ok so far, all lifts are starting to get tougher now though!
I'm sure i'm gona get a lot of people slagging off my form on this one, but this is the proper way to perform a barbell row. Not the stupid bodybuilder way.
Oh, and before i forget, a special thanks to the amazing person that bought me the t-shirt im wearing! Love ya girl!!!

  • nice work man ! just out of curiosity, what r ur feelings from this 5x5 training? (single factor or dual factor) ? wich u r doing? how many weeks have u been able to continue the progression about the weights? (at your status = strong lifter already the progression is of course hard to keep up)

  • I no longer use 5x5 training. It was good and it helped a lot at the time, but i got all i could out of it. I think it's better suited to begginer's. Doing Jim wendler's 5/3/1 at the moment and finally starting to get new p.r's in all lifts.

  • does it count if you set it down? your older so you would know get back to me but nice job

  • Yes it counts. It's actually harder to do reps this way, as your lifting from a dead stop each time as apposed to bouncing the weight off the floor.

  • reps look slightly short. Is the bar hitting your sternum?

(Not trying to be an ass like that twerp Neil btw, just curious)

  • I do remember thinking the last two reps were a little short, but it was a while ago now, and this was my max back then.

  • @hungry5768 actually this is how bent over barbell rows were done in the good old days, the olympic coach Glenn Pendlay didn't invent this exercise at all

  • well done

  • @mduxburygrip We got a pussy right here who wants to start a futile youtube fight. Just turn your computer off. You spend way too much time doing pointless things.

  • @jonny86121

I guess you're right - I AM just wasting my time here with you ungrateful twits and won't do it anymore. My bad for trying to get some truth out through a popular medium.

  • @mduxburygrip If you wanna do heavy lifting with bad forms and hurt yourself and embarrass yourself in the gym be my guest.

  • @CaneFu Here is to another 40 years of talking utter bullshit, old man.

If im on youtube slating teens at your age I hope someone puts a fucking bullet in my head lol. Fuckin pedo.

  • @CaneFu Ouch sorry mate... at first I thought you were another one of those youtube experts. I didn't realise you were a real life self proclaimed expert.

You couldn't even back up your ridiculous comments so instead you decide to tell me you have a long history of being in an industry you clearly know nothing about? LOL

40 years as a trainer and you're on youtube telling people whats what? HA obviously people in real world told you to fuck off too.

"The problem with weight training is that once a man starts he suddenly becomes an expert"

As you think you are...after almost 40 years as a gym manager, owner, coach, and trainer, I AM an expert. I have also learned to recognize a boob when I come across one, and that's exactly what you are and I won't waste anymore time with you.

  • @CaneFu Really? Thats it? You rudely interupt my issue with someone else... and now... you give up? Couldn't you have just saved me the hassel and not bothered poking your nose in from the start. The problem with weight training is that once a man starts.. he suddenly becomes an expert. I have more respect for fighters who go through gruling circuit training and heart exloding cardio. But only real men and real strength can be tested by lifting weights? Fuck off ya nonse.
