(c)1995 National Football League; NBC--Comcast
Week 8 match between the 4-3 Miami Dolphins (with Bernie Kosar substituting for injured Dan Marino) and 1-6 New York Jets in what was the first match at the Meadowlands since the infamous "Fake Spike" game the previous season that sent the Jets on a 5-game skid at the end of the 1994 season.
Calling the game is Tom Hammond and Cris Collinsworth.
Things begin in promising fashion for the hometown fans as the Jets force a three-and-out, but after a good start, the Jets also punted.
Sponsors include: Chevrolet trucks (Like a Rock); Stanley (Mirror doors), Northwestern Mutual Life and American Express
The sidelined starting quarterbacks, Dan Marino for the Dolphins, and Boomer Esiason for the Jets, are both on the CBS pregame show The NFL Today.
Tom Hammond and Cris Collinsworth were the announcers for Madden NFL 09* and Madden NFL 10.
*PS3 and Xbox 360 only, Al Michaels and John Madden remained the announcers for all other versions.
