Manjula, I made Puris and for the first time it came out very well and stayed puffed up for a long time too. I impressed my family who enjoyed every last bite. Hi Manjula , u teach me a lot of things thanks , and for this bread we in KSA do the same but smaller also we add some spice like turmeric ,aniseed and we called this bread " Sabeb" ,

Do you use Baking Powder or Yeast? Just flour and water?
