Rip it Up - Interpreted from a practice tape Buddy Holly recorded at Venture Studio (Lubbock, Texas) in late 1956 with Jerry Allison and Larry Welborn (uncertain) on bass. Composed by John Marascalco (Little Richard's chauffeur) and Otis Blackwell. This tune was also covered by Ritchie Valens, Elvis and many others as an early rockabilly standard.

  • These guys sound really good especially as a 3 piece band. Great interpretation. Thanks for posting.

  • We're really glad to see the music being enjoyed all over again. The writers deserve so much credit they didn't get back in the fifties.

We just try to put a bit of a modern spin on it.
