RTC Transit 2008 NABI 40-LFW Diesel (2nd gen) - 997 @ 106A Rancho/Centennial Hills

In 2007, Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTCSNV) was became the launch customer of the 2nd generation of NABI 40-LFW, 2nd generation of 40-LFW featured the new re-style front design, RTC was ordered 50 units and deliveried in 2008~~

In these 50 vehicle, there are 20 powered by Diesel, all of them are currently assigned to Simmons depot~~

For the powertrain of the diesel version, these buses equipped Cummins ISL-280 EPA2007 engine and Allison B400R 5-speed transmission, air-con system provided by Thermo King~~

Let's go to the joyride of the diesel version of the NABI 40-LFW (2nd generation) - 997 on route 106 Rancho/Centennial Hills toward Centennial Hills Transit Centre, this clip was taken from Downtown Las Vegas to Santa Fe Station Casino~~

You may listen the engine sound while the a/c was off at the first 3 mins, and then the operator turned on the a/c since 3:00 ~~
