"Dröm är dröm och saga saga" (A Dream is a Dream and a Story a Story) was released as a single and reached #3 on the Swedish chart Svensktoppen in December 1971. The most interesting fact is that all future ABBA members were singing here. This can perhaps be considered as a very early ABBA song! Here is Agnetha's own thoughts:
"This song was terribly difficult to sing - long notes and no breathing pauses between the phrases. At that time, I hadn't yet begun to take singing lessons, as I now do twice a week. Another neat thing about this song, which was originally in Italian, is that Björn, Benny and Frida are singing in the background. Already, ABBA had begun to come together..."
It was also released as track 12 on Agnethas 4th Swedish solo album Nar En Vacker Tanke Blir En Sang (When A Beautiful Idea Becomes A Song) in November 1971. The album was recorded at Metronome Studios, Stockholm from May 1971 onwards. Agnetha wrote all the songs herself except this one, and Bjorn was sole producer. Agnetha's career began at just 17 when her very first single "Jag Var Sa Kar" which she wrote herself topped the Swedish charts in January 1968, giving her instant fame in Sweden.

This is the Swedish cover of an Italian song titled "Era bello il mio ragazzo" ("My son was handsome"), sung by Anna Identici. The Italian version is much sadder, since it tells about a mum who loses her son in a work accident.
