What's your point? You've never used that word, or anything like it? And why shouldn't she be honored for her acting career, which has nothing to do with the politics of 35 years ago. Man, can you hold a grudge!
UGHH she is soo annoying, she always says or does something extremely offensive or controversial and then apologizes and acts like she won't do it again and then does it again over and over... People need to stop inviting her to shows, nobody cares what someone so over-opinionated thinks anyway...
I don't think it the word that is so offensive. It the scary control of a mindless demographtic, through a scripted gaffe. Remember the uneducated audience watching Fonda and these shows vote. These hillbillies usually vote Democrat, and as a result - through extension we feel their stupidity.
