Correct. In Iowa the doctors commit malpractice on a daily bases. I have a permanantly paralyzed leg from surgical errors of Dr. Patrick Hitchon. He and my family physician, Dr. J.Fred Roules, refused to release my medical documentation since 1988. A follow up surgery proved this HORRID crime and revealed these doctors knew of their criminal acts. Contact Dr. Sergio Mendoza. I was 18 when my leg became paralyzed and 36 when this malpractice was PROVEN. Iowa has a 3 year statute.

good video.... and very true...i bet that many of the reply's below are from physicians who have harmed many... i've been subjected to malpractice and can't even find a lawyer in canada willing to take my case.. when an insurance company gets involved, they practice bad faith insurance tactic's to deny,delay,defend... how is it that it takes 28 doctors, 2 yrs, to diagnose a fractured spine....easy, just add the workers compensation board, who minimizes you out the door with no tests

this is all bolgney that 75% of all memdal cases are frivolous a lawyer would'nt waste the 100k it usually costs to persue a case that on it's face has no merit.
if one of you becomes injured severly as i have by gross negligence you would have to contend with juries that have that very attitude.
i suffered a stroke and i'm 35 because of a medication oversight.
i also suffered renal failure, rhabdomyloysis permanent nerve damage, and epilepsy as a result of that stroke.

"Each year, hundreds of thousands of people are killed or injured by doctors or hospitals in America." You lost all credibility right there, with your opening statement. Doctors and hospitals don't create the illness or trauma. They're there to help, to heal, to ease suffering. You lawyers try to phrase things so that it looks like doctors are evil. In truth, you're the parasites taking 1/3 of your settlements. FACT: 75% of all cases filed are FRIVOLOUS. Those are the facts, Anniebeth.

Maybe you need to re-examine the insurance industry who is lining their pockets as we speak with a surplus of funds from the increase in doctor's premiums while paying out less than ever on valid malpractice claims. So let's see, victims are getting nothing, and doctors are paying out more, hmmm, perhaps you are barking up the wrong tree and need to actually examine the facts before spewing forth such cliche rhetoric and propaganda.
