How to kill the final boss of the game. Select "Anti Matter Bomb" in Stage 11, make sure you don't use it in Stage 10. The Video is somewhat crappy, because its an US Version running on a PAL Mega Drive.

Yup I am taking a beating, but I kinda forgot the pattern after all the years and was too lazy to record a second attempt XD

  • Perhaps they just built up another? When the first death star was destroyed, they made a second one, so no reason not build this big ship again in lost planet.

  • @ZAPPSOFT That happened with my copy all the time too. Later I read somewhere it could be a glitched copy.

  • @HerbalAbuse Beats me, why do people listen to old music, watch old movies or read old books? Idiot.

  • No matter what I do, It always shoots a Super Final Beam that kills me. I just don't get it.

  • I did the same thing,I never beat this boss I wonder what I was doing wrong?DO you need to use a specific weapon or something?.I always thought my copy of this game was defective.Anyway this game rules.

  • what a game it made people shut up back in 95 about my genesis, they where always like snes was better this and that,i said they're both good once i popped this up they where like WTf 3d like this we've never seen that.

  • This is not exactly the first series to use a bad guy who makes returns.

  • Yes, but it has a second form in "The Lost Planet".

  • Ooh, nice idea actually, could work out and makes sense I think.

  • Judging by the fact that an alien parasite emerges from the Gloire after you destroy it, I'd say that the alien parasite is manipulating the Gloire's remains.

  • But Silpheed: The Lost Planet is just a remake of this. So, this boss's appearence in that game doesn't count. Also, the ending is the same. In both versions, it has one of the pilots saying, "Gentlemen, it's time to go home!" But in Silpheed: The Lost Planet, there is an extra speech before the end credits. Also, the ending theme is the same.
