i think this provision in the proposed constitution is unfair 'especially' to men when the marriage comes to a halt.i will propose the couple only share what was accumulated during the marriage spell considering that in most African marriage, women negotiate into a marriage with 'nothing' material ok am not saying wealth is ething but lets save that thread for another day.

I'm delighted to see kenyans who choose to do away with western ways. It is this same laws that are causing western societies to disintegrate day by day, an emergence of psychopathic kids, a divorce culture, gold digging, and an outright disrespect of the sanctity of wedlock. This laws are unfair to either sexes; unless people favour them because they will allow them to hop from one marriage to the other accumulating wealth, then retiring at around 45 to enjoy a lifetime of marrying career.
