No, actually, God sent the animals, and they came in numbers of two to multiply :P The ark was HUGE and most likely had many many many rooms. A lot of the extinct species most likely where hunted or something like that. He didn't actually collect the bugs ^^ Those are good questions and I can't say I know all the answers. This is what I have read, been told, and know ;)

Since 99% of all species are extinct today, Noah made a pretty poor job I think. I wonder where he stored the 350 000+ species of beetle and had time collecting them.
