Beginners in Ableton Live 8 - How to use Impulse to Create a Drum Loop In Live

Hey guys! I wanted to make this workshop to help any guys in my class who are trying to get into Live and want to start making music with the software.

This is a workshop strictly for beginners.

By the end of this workshop you will know how to do the following in Live:

1) How to make a drum loop using the Impulse Instrument using samples
2) How to manipulate samples within the Impulse Instrument
3) Basic Arranging of a drum loop
4) Routing samples from Impulse to their own individual channel for further manipulation.
5) Adding effects to each sample
6) Basic Envelope Modulation in the Arrangement View

This workshop should be enough to get any beginner started using Live to create their own drum loop and begin to do simple arranging of their loops.

You lost me at around the 8 minute mark I'm afraid. All that stuff in the Impulse folder that you could choose from isn't on mine, I don't have any desktop samples or anything like that so I can't make any beats or anything :(
