I think its a cool idea, but if youve ever been super nervous or stressed, i think that key situation could be a problem. first you gotta make sure you have the key, then get it in the key hole and turn it multiple times. I dont know what the right answer is, but i dont think it would be for me anyhow. Im not saying its not a cool piece or well built or anything, just that it wouldnt necessarily make me feel safe with the steps needed to get to the firearm. Pistol is always the best bet anyhow

Opinion: I dont want,need or LIKE that mount,BUT.I WOULD LIKE a mount like that, LONG enough to hold 4 or 5 pistols. Each with their own locking mechanizm. Now that would be pretty cool , I think! Then You & I could buy one and do away with our crazy bedside/belt/holster system(Mine is alot like your setup).
