Travel Tips: Your Car Rental Voucher Explained

Auto Europe takes a moment to go over your rental voucher and explain what all the fine print means to you. There is a lot of important information, so make sure to go over it closely.

Anytime you rent with Auto Europe, a car rental voucher will be emailed to you, and it will contain all the information needed for a smooth car rental experience. Please print a copy of the voucher to present at time of pick up. Be sure to go over the information on the voucher before traveling and reconfirm the dates, times, locations, car category, and driver's name. Another important thing to note is the rental car supplier that Auto Europe has confirmed your rental with, such as Europcar, Avis, Hertz, Budget, or National just to name a few. Once you've confirmed the information on your voucher, take a look at the terms and conditions below. It may seem like a lot of fine print, but it's very important to understand everything that's stated here. The first thing to review are the rental inclusions. On this example, the following are included value added tax, unlimited mileage, fire insurance, liability insurance and the collision and theft insurances. Please be sure to note the collision and theft deductible amounts. Collision and theft insurances may be a benefit provided by your major credit card company. If you do not purchase the collision and theft with the rental, the terms will look like this. There may be a surcharge for some locations, or a road tax for the rental. These fees are mandatory, and they will be listed here as well. The general terms are also important.
