You managed to marry Smooth & funky styles for what i would call a "Smooky track !" I didn't see or ear any mistakes and kept my feet tap the tempo during 7 mns. excellent guitar sound & play and also very nice Bass track. i would have enjoy few slap bass to enhance the rythmic session. However i love your song and put it as one of my favorite. I would love to have the same keyboard...Thank's for sharing !

yeah definately you dont only need the perfect guitar sound you gotta have a guitarrist inside and really make it sound real.Great improv,Im gonna buy the X7 soon I just cant live without that machine ahhaahhaahhaha its gonna take my music to new heights

Very nice playing :)! Do you remember which performance it was? It's a great one for jamming :) 1:30 sounds nice, quite a nice guitar for jamming :D

This entire performance was done with only the Yamaha XS8. While it is an awesome instrument, I sold it a while back and have converted my entire studio to a software-based setup around a laptop running ProTools, Reason, the Maschine, plus a nice midi keyboard-controller. I topped it off with nice new monitors. I've managed to finish one nice paying corporate multimedia project with the new rig - but no extra time for making more videos. I do, however, see a new XF8 in my future :-)

I'm thinking of buying an XS8 myself, but here in Europe they're more expensive. It's like €3200 (= $4760)!

Paul: Thanks for the kind word! Many of my musician friends are guitarists and I absolutely love the sound of the guitar. Funny thing is - I recorded this while a guitar playing friend was visiting and he had no idea what a modern keyboard could sound like.
