I think I would agree with Pitcairn2 that Julian Bream is the greatest guitarist of the 20th century, but I'm amazed at his left hand posture. It looks horrible. His fingers are seldom perpendicular to the fingerboard. How does he manage to avoid accidental muting of adjacent strings?

I'm not so sure that he is the best but, certainly, is one of the most accomplished and brilliant guitarists of the period. His skills and profoundness define me, give me a bit of sense and meaning of my existence...
