  • The type of music that makes me have to lay down so I use nothing of my body more than my ears and my heart while it's playing.

  • I missed him on 10/30 in Cologne, I could bite my ass (German expression)! He and his band seem to be brilliant live.

  • @delusionaldiminutive It is featured in the Sacred Harp songbooks, although whether it originated there or not, I don't know.

  • Actually it was found in an 18th century protestant hymnal and redone by Natalie Merchant in about 2003. BTW... Her version is infinitely better!!!

  • Was this originally a Sacred Harp song?

  • that's probably one of the best comments i've ever heard in my life. cheers to you sir.

  • What cunt wrote that. cunty-baw-cunt.

  • There is only one thing better than this tune - and thats the chap that told me about it. Said man, like this song, is all good.

  • Saw Elvis Perkins in Dearland recently in Buffalo; he is a terrific singer/songwriter...great band!
