one question: how did you make your boardcomputer display work after changing the radio?

you cant (even though its a bit late)
xxx/xx/xx goes as follows
xxx being the width of the tire,
first xx is the length from the end of rim to the end of tire
second xx is the inches of those rims
17 -> 17" rims
195/225 just the width
65/55 represents the profileness of the tire, if its low profile (aka thin tires) the number is lower, as you have noticed the 45 is lower profile than the 65
you can mess around a bit with the first 2 numbers, the third number has to be exact (rim ")

the 15 resembles the rims size, 15 inches,
he has 15 and you have 17 inch rims
if i'm not mistaken the 195 or 215 is the tier width
and the 65 is the tire height starting from the edge of the rim till the flat surface
correct me if i'm wrong

I have 2006 VW Golf, 2.0 FSI. Standard tyres are 195/65/15. Can 215/45/17 be put into 2006 model golf?
